Anemone Garden 2000 Grove Building Coconut Grove

This locale is an office building off U.S. 1 in Coconut Grove. The outcrop borders the parking lot on the north and east side. This location is a small, highly weathered outcrop, no more than 1 meter high with abundant anemone Phyllactis conguilegia (Shinn, 1968) escape burrows. Similar burrows were observed at the Ingraham. Throughout the literature these structures are called nested cone burrows, or cone-in-cone burrows.
