The Florida Society of Geographers (FSG) is excited to be holding its 44th annual meeting in downtown Miami. The River Park Hotel and Suites Downtown-City Center is located within walking distance from the restaurants and shops at Bayside Marketplace and the American Airlines Arena. The hotel is also less than five minutes from the Port of Miami and the Business District of Brickell. The River Park Hotel and Suites is conveniently located next to the Miami downtown People Mover. The River Park is just a short drive from Miami’s nightclubs, boutiques, cafés, and beautiful South Beach (seven miles). Continuing with tradition, the meeting will dovetail with the Florida Geographic Alliance (FGA) meeting.

The Florida Society of
Geographers (FSG) held its 43rd annual meeting at the
Windham Jacksonville Riverwalk Hotel located in downtown
Jacksonville. Thank you to Dr. Jeff Martin and the
Department of Geography for hosting the meeting and all of
the JU geography students volunteers who supported and
helped make the meeting a success.

The meeting hotel is the Windham Jacksonville Riverwalk located in downtown Jacksonville. There is a discounted group rate of $99. These rates will be available until January 15, 2007. You MUST mention the FSG for these rates. We need to fill a certain number of rooms to get the meeting rooms free.
